David LeBlanc, a self described paranoid schizophrenic sits in the van with newly graduated New Orleans Crisis Unit Technician William McDermott after arriving at LSU Hospital in New Orleans, La., Wednesday, June 10, 2009. Mr. LeBlanc was picked up in the French Quarter by the Crisis Unit after committing himself to police officers. "I'm a paranoid Schizophrenic and I'm hearing voices, uh, telling me to commit suicide, step out in front of cars, stuff like that" he says "I got my medication in my pocket but I haven't been taking it, I've been drinking large amounts of alcohol in the past few days. I'm still hearing voices" he said.
